Tahitian ("Black Pearl") Necklace in Peacock Green

Stunningly colored Tahitian pearls in the hard-to-get "peacock green color, along with blues and auberge. These are an exceptional strand of 10-12mm round pearls with very little blemishing. It's a strand for people who LOVE Tahitian pearls!

This strand is not yet strung. You can purchase it as-is, but of course we'd love to suggest a clasp for you and string it in our traditional, professional silk knotted method. When we receive your order you will get an email with a few clasp suggestions and prices. Feel free to add any requirements to the notes section of your order (i.e. silver, yellow gold, sparkles). Clasps come in a variety of metals and prices. Adding knots can add as much as 1-2" to the necklace. We will string to your desired length.

Interesting Fact: Did you know that legend tells of the first Tahitian pearl being made by the God Oro who was in love with the mortal Princess of Bora Bora? In order to show his affection for her he surfed down a rainbow with the first Tahitian pearl to give it to her as a sign of his affection. Along the way, the pearl picked up all the colors of the rainbow which give the best of the Tahitian pearls their unique beauty. From then on spread them across the ocean for all of us to find, enjoy and maybe even to use as our expression of affection.
